MY ROLE AT HERMES

I’m a Project Manager, responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects to achieve specific goals.

WHAT DRIVES ME

To give real meaning, in my daily existence, with my means and possibilities, to a wonderfully formulated message to which I feel I belong: “No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the whole. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend’s or of thine own were: any man’s death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore, never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

John Donne Meditation XVII

ABOUT ME

I’m curious; I enjoy observing, listening, understanding, and intuiting. I appreciate change in its sense of effort and transformation (but only ever in hindsight). I read books and seek meanings.

AN OBJECT THAT DESCRIBES ME

The kaleidoscope, often seen as a toy with its colorful, symmetrical, and varied images, but to me, it’s a metaphor for life. The human experience, much like the kaleidoscope with its shapes, is made up of multiple ever-changing and transformative experiences. I believe it’s up to us to seek out the shapes/experiences that will most marvel and surprise us: for their color, beauty, and meaning.
