Who are we?

It’s a difficult question, for everyone. Every now and then, we too gather together, ask ourselves this question, and find answers by renewing and re-sharing our vision, our mission, and our goals.

We did just that this month, to start the new year on the right foot.

We do many things, but there is a common thread running through them all: we want to be catalysts for cultural transformation.

Within systems, we amplify people’s contribution and build connections for shared results.

Coaching: because for us, the common good is the future of the world.

We do this in many ways.

One of them is coaching.

Why?

Coaching supports people in their professional development, guiding them to define and pursue their own growth and improvement journey in line with their role and company goals.

Although it is an individual intervention, coaching enables the entire organisation to maximise its competitiveness by enhancing the business performance of its most valuable asset: its people.

A coaching programme can support people to:

  1. · define and roll out new visions and strategies across the business;
  2. · stay focused on results;
  3. · lead organisational structures through change;
  4. · grow into their role;
  5. · make complex and demanding decisions;
  6. · manage managerial, organisational, and relational challenges effectively;
  7. · motivate others towards results;
  8. · build collaborative networks and relationships

Each of us seeks balance within ourselves, in our life context, and in our workplace. Balance means feeling capable in complex situations, being effective in achieving results, and living in harmony with others.

The balance an individual brings to their environment reflects their own inner balance.

For these reasons, Hermes bases its coaching practice on three pillars:

  1. · the search for harmony between thinking, feeling, and willing, which empowers people to make responsible decisions to change and decide “how” to change
  2. · the development of self-awareness, which forms the basis for making choices and taking new actions
  3. · the guiding principle of ethical and conscious business, which steers towards results aimed at collective wellbeing.

IN CONCLUSION

They say a great chef can create exceptional dishes even when clearing out the pantry with only a few items to hand. Even with few ingredients, they know how to combine them to create something truly unique. Conversely, someone who isn’t a chef will complain about not having the right ingredients to cook something genuinely good.

In short, it’s clear that the ingredients don’t make the difference; it is the person using them and the way they bring out their best.

Coaching applies a systemic lens precisely to enable individuals to see themselves in the broadest possible context.
